Ottawa Convention Centre

On April 13th, 2011, the Ottawa Convention Centre had it's grand opening event. I was fortunate enough to be among a small group of students asked to photograph the event. The building is a gorgeous example of modern architecture, and i'm thankful I had the opportunity to photograph the event. Here are a few pics from the night:

Algonquin Photography Exhibition 2011

On Monday night Algonquin College held their 38th annual photography exhibition. There, the work of this year's 1st and 2nd year students was showcased to friends and family. The night was very successful and there was a large turnout. As a graduating 2nd year student, I had to select two images to be shown. I ended up selecting the following two images:

It's a strange feeling to be done school, and although I know I am going to miss it, I am excited for the next step.

Hey all,

For our second assignment of the final semester, we had to do a magazine cover. With my theme having to do with nature, and my insane love for the magazine, I knew right away I was going to do National Geographic

It's an Egyptian Celebration!

Hello everyone,

Unless you live under a rock, you're probably aware of the ongoing Revolution in Egypt. The events that are occurring in this country have also inspired similar happenings in Bahrain, Libya, Algeria, Yemen and Iran.

On Saturday at Parliament Hill there was a celebration. A celebration of freedom, pride, and culture. I was lucky enough to be able to grab a camera and a sexy lens, and headed over there for a bit of shooting. Here's a few shots from the day:

Movie Poster

Hey folks,

For the first assignment of my final semester at school, we had to recreate a movie poster. I initially wanted to recreate There Will Be Blood, or more specifically, the portrait of Daniel Day Lewis. Unfortunately, I couldn't get ahold of the model I wanted to shoot, so I had to jump to plan B. I ended up doing The American, hope you guys like it!

Also props to Alex and Sabrina for being great models!
